This isn’t parenting advice
I AM NOT A PARENT
Yet, everything I say revolves around kids and how to establish good habits in them. How can a guy who has never had kids give advice on how to raise them? Why should you even consider my lessons to be useful? I am happy you asked.
My house contains exactly zero children, but I don’t claim to be a “parenting” expert. Heck, I don’t even give “parenting” advice. My goal is help people get and stay healthy. I choose to work directly with kids and families because they have the most potential.
The capacity for greatness in a family unit is unlimited. The ability to create new habits is limitless and the impact healthy habits have on young lives is literally life altering.
I provide the tools, you do the construction!
I don’t want to tell you how to raise your kids. However, I can to give you tools and advice that can applied to raising your kids. These tools are used for ANY human looking for a healthy change. The only difference in my approach is that I packaged the message into a format that is interesting and FUN for kids.
Small people (kids) require the same information as adults about health. In fact, healthy lifestyles are even more important for kids as the exercise and nutrition that they are exposed to at a young age directly correlates with how they learn, grow, pay attention, feel and view the world.
These ideas are not my own, I am not a scientist, I am not a researcher, but I have read the material. It’s fact! Kids are not receiving the information they need to thrive and a family setting of edcuation is crucial in the adherence to new healthy habits.
BOOST BASICS is a resource, it’s a way to bring these topics into your house. It is a way to put health on the table and start a conversation. I don’t have any goal other then facilitating change in people’s lives. This is my passion project, my way to ensure that kids and parents have options when it comes to health education.
I don’t know the first thing about bottle feeding, temper tantrums or ketchup addiction. But I don’t claim to. YOU are the parent, that’s your department. I want to be your resource and I want you to find comfort in knowing that the information I provide is truthful and useful. What you do with it is up to you, but know that we are on the same team. I want you kids to grow up viewing health in a new way.
We both want YOUR kids to be healthy.
